!! Great second half performance from Jordan !!

Just wanted to say how proud We are
off Jordan Holmes performance today playing for his country Australia v Brazil. Jordan had a fantastic game for the soccerooos coming on at half time 1-0 down to Brazil after 45 minutes. Jordan's heroics kept Brazil at bay. even thou the soccerooos lost its important as a gk that you do your best & Jordan certainly did that well done buddy.

!! Mossy in the Premiership !!

AFC Bournemouth topped the tree as champions of the Champoinship an unbelievable achievement for Eddie his coaching team & players. Mossy will now be rubbing shoulder with the best in the game. Well done Neil your hard work is now paying off. Everyone at Between the Sticks wishes Bournemouth & Mossy all the best next season.

!! BTS Nick Hutchings Secures Cup for Poole Town !!

Between the Sticks senior coach Nick Hutchings wins the Red Insurance Southern Leauge Cup for Poole Town FC, in a very close encounter v Corby Town FC the score finished 0-0 but, Poole Town won the tie on away goals wining the cup from their 1-1 draw at Corby. 

Nick did not play in the first leg Ryan Thorpe played making his debut & played very well. This is the first time Poole Town has won this trophy which is surprising looking at their history in football.

!! Easter time table closed Bank Holiday Monday !!

Hi Everyone. 

Between the Sticks will be open for training on Thursday 2nd April as normal but will be closed on Bank Holiday Monday 6th April.

!! Gaz comes on as sub GK at Scunthorpe !!

Gaz was on the bench for Yeovil on Saturday v Scunthorpe & on the 38th minute Gaz had to come for injured Krysiak who suffered an head injury. During the game Gaz had to face a penalty which he saved. Yeovil went on to draw. So from goalkeeping coach to sub to playing great professional.

!! Kayla Randell's report on Portugal trip !!

Kayla Randell was selected to go to Portugal with the England Schools training & playing (I mentioned this in an earlier post) this is a report from Kayla of her fantastic trip👍

It was amazing best week of my life I gained a lot of experience and learnt new things every girl put 110% into training and matches that lead to us winning both matches the first one against Sintra girls under 15's winning 6-0 then the second game was against Benfica girls under 16's winning 8-0. Everyone enjoyed there self and to top it off we spent the week with 2 England legends I had 3 training sessions with Rachel brown 1 to 1 which was really good also we had Rachel Yankey who was our team ambassador who was really nice they were both really good role models. At the end of the week about to leave the hotel Rachel brown very kindly gave me her goalkeeper gloves which was a real privilege.
