Australian based NSW Centre of Excellence Would just like to thank Robbie Yates for all his hard work whilst over in the UK , Whilst trialing over in the UK   versus Stoke city , AFC Bournemouth, Cardiff City , Portsmouth FC  and Fulham FC.

Jordan would like to thank Robbie for all his work whilst over in England to help him achieve his dream of signing for a professional club in England. 

Paul Hubbard former AFC Bournemouth coach and currently coach at Sutherland Sharks FC based NSW PREMIER LEAGUE would like to thank Robbie for all his help whilst in England.

" Robbie was great for Jordan whilst in England his professional manner and high tempo goalkeeper sessions and  goalkeeping experience gave Jordan an insight into the step up in levels from Australian football .

Jordan was a part of the the NSW institute of sport and is rated very highly over in Australia gaining interest from premier league clubs but decided on AFC Bournemouth.

He was treated well by Neil Moss and Robbie and loved the club . We have some very good players over in New South Wales  and working with premier league and football league clubs to help some of the boys progress to the next level.

!! Gaz wins at Wembley play off final !!

Senior Goalkeeping coach at BTS, Gaz Stewart won the Division 1 play off final at Wembley with Yeovil Town beating Brentford 2-1 in a very entertaining game.
It was great to see Gaz move into the championship with Mossy and AFC Bournemouth.
A fantastic season for Gaz he really deserves it. Gaz has worked very hard in his coaching so well done from everyone at BTS.

!! Nick wins non league goalkeeper of the year !!!

Nick Hutchings wins Non League goalkeeper of the year!!
Nick a senior coach at Between the Sticks and Poole Towns number 1 secured the award at Fulham FC Craven Cottage.
The award sponsored by reuch gloves was a elegant decanter engraved (pictured below)
Nick was overwhelmed saying" I am totally honoured to receive this award thanking Poole town supporters for voting for me, Tommy Killick, James Woods , players at Poole Town and Robbie Yates my goalkeeping coach"
The event was well organised & presented by the Non League Paper.

Congratulations to AFC Bournemouth

As you may know Between The Sticks has had a long affiliation with AFC Bournemouth our local professional football club.

Going back over 10 years Robbie and Martin ran the goalkeeping section of the clubs Centre of Excellence whilst Mossy and Gaz were the 2 senior goalkeepers playing in the 1st team.

In 2006 Mossy started helping Robbie with the Centre keepers and this was when the idea of BTS started to emerge.

We still currently coach the young Bournemouth keepers on a Monday night with our own Dave Walsh who is head of goalkeeping for all keepers 16 and under.

Mossy has also just completed his 4th season as Bournemouths 1st team goalkeeper coach.

So it was obviously very pleasing to see our local club get promoted to the Championship for only the 2nd time in their history and we hope to continue our strong ties with the club for many years to come.
